PRESS RELEASE: Orange County Supervisorial Candidate Mayor Tim Shaw Receives The Endorsement Of Assemblyman Phillip Chen

(Orange County, California) The Tim Shaw Campaign for Orange County Supervisor of the Fourth District received great news today, with the endorsement of three of his La Habra City Council colleagues. These endorsements will increase his campaign’s momentum to replace termed out Supervisor Shawn Nelson. La Habra City Council Members Tom Beamish, James Gomez and Michael Blazey have all endorsed Tim Shaw.
The Tim Shaw for OC Supervisor campaign received a major endorsement from California Assemblyman Phillip Chen today. This continues the Shaw campaign’s momentum in receiving major local and regional endorsements. In a statement, Assemblyman Chen stated “I know Tim has always done an exemplary job as a Mayor, City Council Member and serving on regional boards such as OCTA for the past several years. Tim knows the issues and opportunities that face North Orange County and knows how to bring people together to create solutions. He also protects our taxpayers and has the experience to stop wasteful spending. This is why I am endorsing Tim Shaw for 4th District Supervisor.”

Over the past week the Shaw campaign continues to receive important endorsements of his common sense campaign for Orange County supervisor. Both State and local leaders understand that Mayor Tim Shaw has the experience and public trust to be a great supervisor. Mayor Tim Shaw was elected Mayor for 2018 by his City Council colleagues, and has served on the La Habra City Council since 2008, winning handily in the 2008, 2012 and 2016 elections. Mayor Shaw also serves on regional Boards of Directors as Vice Chairman of the Orange County Transit Authority (OCTA), and on the Orange County Sanitation District (OCSD), also serving on the Steering Committee for the Groundwater Replenishment System (GWRS). Mayor Shaw lives in La Habra with his wife Shannon and their six sons for the past 13 years.
Mayor Pro Tem Tim Shaw works as the Director of Government Affairs for the Pacific West Association of REALTORS, as well as being an Adjunct Professor of American Government for 12 years. Married to Shannon, Tim is the proud father of five sons. Tim also attended local public schools in the Fourth District, where he and Shannon chose to raise their family.
